I designed the interior for The Power of Style (Annick Press), a non-fiction title by Christian Allaire that explores the intersection of fashion, self-expression, and cultural activism. Targeted at a young adult audience, the design required a high-energy, editorial aesthetic that mirrored the vibrant and inclusive nature of the subject matter. The layout centers on a 'bold-and-striking' visual hierarchy, utilizing large-scale imagery and expressive typography to elevate the storytelling. By creating a dynamic relationship between the text and the photography, I ensured the book felt less like a traditional textbook and more like a premium fashion publication. This project demonstrates my ability to manage complex, image-heavy layouts while maintaining a cohesive brand voice that resonates with a socially conscious, Gen Z audience.
