As the Founding Editor and Creative Director of Ephemera Magazine, I built a globally distributed print publication from the ground up. A collection of short fiction, essays, interviews, photography, and artwork, Ephemera aimed to explore multiple perspectives from a variety of thinkers and image makers. As creative director and founding editor, I was responsible for curating, managing, and advising on contributions from a wide range of talented thinkers and image makers across Canada, and around the world. I directed every aspect of the brand’s lifecycle—from conceptualizing the initial visual identity and editorial voice to managing international teams of contributors. My work involved overseeing the complete production cycle and managing complex vendor relationships and distribution networks in major international hubs, including Tokyo and Los Angeles. We published six issues and one double issue, examining topics such as Pop Music, Food, and Power.
