JANE FINCH POETRY PROJECT

I participated in a project in collaboration with the Jane & Finch poetry group with a group of designers from my program, YSDN. After meeting weekly for 10 weeks to discuss the poets' experiences and poetry, we created a booklet of posters using their poetry which was centered around the theme of poverty.

The publication is black and white and legal-sized in keeping with the theme of poverty. The posters can easily be duplicated simply using a photocopier. I took on the responsibility of keeping track of our meetings and what we discussed. I also contributed to the organization and creation of the publication and posters.
