Home is Not a Place

This is a book project that takes ideas and concepts about home already present in existing works and reinterprets them in a manner that is personal and experimental, offering my own ideas and understanding in relation to the media a visual form. The project explores the many non-physical ideas of home and visually showcases them in an abstract, hands-on manner. The overall visual style is abstract, loose, freeform and nostalgic. Each section of the book represents a different media and evokes a mood through style and colour palette that relates back to the media. French-folded, Japanese bound, actual size is 10.25 x 15".
