HOME AS A PERSONAL MUSEUM

As an exploration of migration, "Home as a Personal Museum" is a visual essay installation that explores the cultural meanings of home. It looks at home as being more complex than a physical space and rather, as a collecting ground for a variety of experiences and personal artifacts. Home evokes a sense of identity and belonging because a person uses the space of a home to create a sense of themselves.
